BASMA sits on her lines in Alimos and points south — Aegina by lunch, Poros for the night, Hydra without the engines running the whole way. The Saronic is forgiving water: short passages, sheltered bays, a taverna on most quays. Right for two or three families sharing, and for anyone who wants a first Greek week without long hauls. Less right for sailors chasing meltemi and distance.

Beam reach in the morning breeze. Pistachio stalls along the quay when we tie up.

Anchor down in clear water, ladder off the transom, lunch in the cockpit.
- 16:00South towards Poros
Afternoon wind fills in. Narrow channel approach, pine on both shores.
