Advance Provisioning Allowance — you pay 30% of charter fee upfront for food, fuel, marina and incidentals. Reconciled at end of week with full receipts. Any unused is refunded; over-run is topped up.
How much do I tip the crew?
5-15% of the charter fee, cash, end of week. The captain typically distributes among the crew.
Can I bring my own chef?
Yes — some operators allow this. We can coordinate.
How early should I book a superyacht?
6-12 months ahead for peak season. The boats are individually owned and weeks book out fast — especially the August Med and December Caribbean.
