Yacht charter in Brazil

The bay between Angra dos Reis and Paraty is one of Brazil's most beautiful stretches of coast, with rainforest down to the water and hundreds of islands. Paraty is a colonial town with cobbled streets, and Ilha Grande has no cars. The boats on our desk here are sailing yachts and catamarans for bareboat and crewed charter.

Boats start from Marina Farol de Paraty and from marinas at Angra dos Reis. The bay is sheltered, with many anchorages, beaches and waterfalls. Ilha Grande's Abraão village and Lopes Mendes beach are highlights.

The sea is warm all year. Winter (June to September) is drier and cooler; summer (December to March) is hot and wetter, with afternoon storms.

Boats in Brazil offer these kinds of charter (a boat can offer more than one):

Bareboat (19 boats): you skipper the boat yourself. The skipper needs a licence the operator accepts, and usually a VHF radio certificate.

Crewed (9 boats): a skipper and crew come with the boat, often with a cook or host.

Day charter (2 boats): a single day on the water, usually with crew.

These prices are for the boat for seven nights, taken from the 2027 offers we hold in November 2026.

The cheapest tenth of boats here start from about €4,900 a week, and the top tenth from about €12,000.

Fuel, marina fees, the final clean and any skipper are usually extra on bareboat yachts; crewed boats include their crew. Each boat page shows what its operator includes and the live price for your dates.

Boats start from Marina Farol de Paraty (13 boats), BR Marinas Verolme (7 boats) and Marina Porto Imperial (1 boat). Many boats can start on any day of the week, with Friday the most common.
