The water north of La Paz runs a hard, deep blue, and most days the breeze fills in after lunch and stays until sundown. Balam sits flat through all of it — wide decks, shade aft, and shallow enough draft to tuck into bays a monohull has to think twice about. Six cabins means nobody shares who doesn't want to. Right for families and for two or three couples travelling together. Less right for anyone who came for heel, spray and hard upwind work.
