A catamaran changes what a week in the Kornati feels like. Flat decks, no heel, and a shallow draft that lets you tuck into bays the deeper monohulls sail past. Four cabins mean nobody draws the short straw, and the saloon stays usable when the afternoon north-westerly gets up. From Kremik it's a short hop north to the Kornati, east to the Krka river mouth, or down the channel to the walls at Šibenik. Right for families and mixed-ability crews; less right for anyone chasing upwind miles.

A reach back inshore, the fortress walls closing in either side.
