Wide decks, shallow draught, no heel. A catamaran changes what a week in the Kvarner feels like — you anchor closer in, cook underway without bracing a hip against the galley, and sleep ten aboard without anyone climbing over anyone. The bura comes off the Velebit cold and hard; afternoons are gentler. The hops between Krk, Cres, Lošinj and Rab are short enough to sail on either wind. Right for families and mixed-ability crews; less right for anyone chasing upwind performance.

Coffee on deck, briefing, then out through the Punat channel on flat water.

Sails up once clear of the shallows. Morning wind is usually light here.
- 12:00Anchor and swim
A bay on the Cres east coast. The catamaran's draught gets you close in.
- 13:30Lunch aboard
Eaten flat, at anchor, on the aft deck rather than wedged into a saloon.
- 16:00Afternoon breeze back
The wind fills in from the north-west. Reach home on one long leg.
- 18:30Back on the pontoon
Showers, then a walk into Punat for a konoba dinner off the quay.
