Kornati is stone and not much else — no shade, few shops, not many places to tie up. A motor boat changes the arithmetic. Leave Sukošan after breakfast, swim under the Telašćica cliffs before lunch, and be back on the berth before the maestral has finished with the channel. Three cabins, seven berths, and enough deck to spend the whole day outside. Right for families and mixed groups who want the islands without a long slog home; less right for anyone who came to sail.
