The water off Split goes deep and clear within a mile of the breakwater, and the maestral fills in after lunch — which is about when a 53ft monohull starts to earn its keep. The islands here sit close enough that you can pick a new anchorage every few miles instead of committing to a passage. Five cabins and 13 berths is a full boat, and worth saying plainly. Right for a group or two families who already know they want to sail together; less right for a quiet two-handed week.

Standard terms: 50% on confirmation, balance due 30 days before boarding, refundable security deposit taken at check-in. Cancellations more than 60 days out are refunded less the deposit. Everything is confirmed in writing before you pay anything.
