Scarlino at 6am smells of pine and warm diesel, and the run out past the breakwater points straight at Elba. Azzurra is a 47ft monohull — four cabins, a cockpit wide enough that a full crew isn't stepping over each other, and short enough hops that nobody spends the week on passage. Ten berths on paper; six is the honest number for a comfortable week. Right for families and mixed-ability crews island-hopping the Tuscan archipelago. Less right for anyone after long offshore legs.
